Capstone University is the product of several years of collaboration and research, which examined the trends in faith formation. The future of spiritual training and spiritual care are changing at a rapid pace. As times change, we as spiritual leaders must be willing to change to accommodate the needs of a changing population.

Pacific Institute for Essential Conversations (PIEC) offers accredited programs in both traditional and contemplative-based Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE).  Our faculty, composed of Interfaith CPE Supervisors, is uniquely qualified to prepare individuals for professional chaplaincy and pastoral care. PIEC graduates are employed in a variety of pastoral settings including acute hospitals, hospices, prisons and senior communities.  We also offer specialized CPE for Eco-chaplaincy and Restorative Justice ministries.
